Meet the Team:

Keith – Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF qualified):  Keith is one of the co-founders of Inspire Runners and has been coaching for over 12 years having taken up running in 2010. He has run competitively in distances from the mile to the marathon. His favourite event is the half marathon and currently coaches on a Tuesday evening.


 Richard, Club Chairman – Run Leader (LiRF qualified):  Richard is the Club Chairman and a run Leader, taking sessions on Monday and Thursday. A multisport enthusiast for over 40 years he has participated in all distances from 5k to full marathon whilst specialising in standard and middle distance duathlon.

 


Vicky – Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF qualified): I started running in 2012 when I joined a C25k group, I completely fell in love with running and the rest is history. I’ve learnt to enjoy most distances over the years and take great pleasure in sharing that enjoyment with others.

 

Caroline – Run Leader (LiRF qualified): I have been running since late 2016, I had stood on the finish line of race after race watching the rest of my family complete them, and saw all these amazing people finishing but kept telling myself I wasn’t a runner! I couldn’t do that!
The truth is everyone can run, they just have to want to, so one day I decided I wanted a medal for something and signed up for a 10km race a few weeks later and as they say the rest is history….
I like the headspace I get when I am out there running and have completed numerous races across all distances from 5km to an ultramarathon, but really like the marathon. I have only recently qualified as a run leader and help out on a Monday or a Tuesday evening when needed.


Helen – Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF qualified):  I started running in 2015 when I decided that I needed a complete lifestyle change. I have raced all distances from 5k to full marathon and really enjoy running as part of a group setting where everyone can support and motivate each other.  I lead mixed ability sessions on a Monday/Tuesday and often lead or assist with the c25k group.


 Jon – Run Leader (LiRF qualified):  Jon is an experienced marathon runner and has been leading training sessions for four years. Jon is currently undertaking the Coach in Running Fitness qualification (CiRF).
