Couch to 5K

Our new Couch to 5K programme starts soon.

Can I do it?

Keen to start running but do not know where to start? Whatever your level of fitness you should be able to build from nothing to running continuously for 30 minutes in the space of just 12 weeks. All you need to do is make a commitment to run at least 3 times a week and follow a simple run/walk program, which will gradually ease you towards your goal.

Details

The course starts on Monday 15th April at 6:30pm for 12 weeks, meeting outside the Nuffield Gym, Chichester Gate Retail Park, Chichester, PO19 8EL.  Thereafter the sessions will start at 6:30pm each Monday and Friday.

The group will be supervised by UK Athletics qualified coaches and run leaders.

The course is £30. All participants will be encouraged to join Inspire Runners Chichester at the end of the course for a discounted sum of £30 (usually £60 per year). Participants can then continue to run with the club in a group to suit their individual needs. Membership of the club includes unlimited access to training sessions, a training T shirt and England Athletics membership.
